This mid-century dining table had been sitting around the workshop for a couple of years. After a recent workshop cleanup it was decided to give it a fresh look.

One of the reasons it had been left for so long was that it had some surface damage on the main part of the table – hence the new look. Satin white main table top with teak extension leaves in excellent original condition. This design and finishing solution make it perfect for modern living.

When extended the table is 196cm long and is large enough to then seat 6 comfortably.

The extensions work on a very simple rail system that locks the extension pieces in place when extended and neatly tucks them away when they are closed.

In the closed position the table is compact, will seat 4 comfortably and has an overall size of 90cm wide x 76cm high x 121cm long.

The table has been finished in a couple of different ways. The main table area has been lacquered in a 60% gloss white acrylic lacquer while the extension leaves are finished in a clear coat product called Stylewood by Wattyl. The two look amazing side-by-side and bring what was a tired mid-century dining table into the 21st century while retaining some of its mid-century/retro charm.
