When building a new house to architectural specifications it also helps to have some custom designed bathroom furniture.

Here is an example of a recent project that we worked on that really helped make these en-suites meet the vision of the architect. Our brief was to design and make two vanity units out of an Australian native timber, in this case Spotted Gum, and while using a natural timber look make it sleek and modern (minimalist).

The vanities have been made with an internal “skeleton” of water proof melamine board wrapped in solid Spotted Gum. The drawer mechanisms are from Blum, a German hardware manufacturer, and are a push to open design that really enabled the minimalist vision to be achieved.
